About Us
Our business is comprised of two people, myself David Colby Jr. and my father David Colby Sr. My father has been in the millwork business for nearly 30 years, supplying woodwork and casework to many builders and contractors. I have been building custom millwork for nearly 2 decades. In that time we have worked for and with many talented and skilled people in this wonderful profession. We learn from each new contract and apply it to the next project.
What We Do
Our philosophy is simple...no compromises.
We build all doors on site, and we do not rely on any manufacturer to complete our doors. We do buy and use residential and commercial grade components such as thresholds, hinges, compression weather-stripping and closures when necessary. Any glass work you can think of is at our disposal from numerous suppliers.
The reason we build everything on site is quality control. We build our doors the "old school" way...right and only once. We build them to the standards and even better than the craftsmen did years ago.
What We've Been Doing Lately
Gothic, mission, classic, sash style and colonial just to name a few.
We have been working on residential properties mostly, with a few church front doors that are displayed in the photo gallery.
